At Villeneuve Construction, we pride ourselves on superior safety standards and practices. In fact, our health and safety performance and level of standard have been recognized by associations and organizations across Ontario over the years.
Our philosophy is that the well-being of our company and clients is dependent on the health and safety of our workforce. Our Health and Safety Coordinators work across the organization to assist our Managers, Supervisors, members of our workforce and contractors in maintaining our health and safety standards and ensuring the safety of every team member, the members of the public, our equipment, and our projects.
To date, we have reached out to qualifying organizations and ensured Villeneuve Construction’s registration and approved participation in a variety of health, safety and environmental programs.
Villeneuve Construction, to name a few, is registered as a qualified contractor for:
- Cognibox – pre-qualified as a relevant, safely run and responsible contractor to a number of large organizations
- Hydro One – meeting the energy distributor’s health & safety requirements, and
- Ontario’s Safeline Utility Services, Inc.
With ISNetworld, Villeneuve Construction has been approved for the following projects and organizations in capital-intensive industries:

Safety Practices
Villeneuve Construction is committed to conducting its business operations in a manner that safeguards and sustains the environment while protecting human health. We strive to develop an attitude of good stewardship with respect to the environmental impact of our operations and services. We recognize that responsible environmental stewardship will ensure our continued success and growth as a company and as a leader in the construction industry.
Our ethic towards the environment has certified us by the Ontario’s Ministry of the Environment in a number of environmental practices, such as wood waste disposal services, contaminated soil collection, handling and transportation, including certification for the production of our asphalt and concrete plants.
By keeping the environment healthy, we keep our communities healthy and ensure the growth of our industry.
Over the years, we have also provided numerous services for land rehabilitation projects and have made the commitment to practice the same level of excellence in rehabilitation as we do in construction.
