MTO PROJECT 2020-5138

Highway 11 – Ryland Rest Area Improvements

The Project

This contract was an initiative from MTO in 2020-2021 after COVID to introduce year round heated structures for truckers and tourists to stop at to rest in Northern Ontario.

The Challenge

One of the challenges on this contract was the holding tank for the sewage which needed floats, alarms at several levels which were then electronically sent to recipients at MTO for emptying the tanks.  There was no room to install a septic field on the size of the property.

Lead time on several pieces of equipment for the building made this contract a challenge to finish in time.
