Parts Data Entry Clerk

Job Description

The Parts Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for updating and maintaining information on our company parts purchasing and work orders system. The incumbent will also be responsible for collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of company information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits;
  • Receive purchase orders and enter work orders;
  • Assist in different parts room activities;
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents;
  • Scan documents and print files, when needed;
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of documents;
  • Perform routine data entry and other office support activities including creating, sorting and filing documents;
  • Any other responsibilities/duties as required and/or as assigned
  • Minimum 1 year of proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk;
  • High school diploma, additional computer training or certification will be an asset;
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs;
  • Knowledge of techniques for document control, tracking, distribution and follow-ups
  • Familiarity with administrative duties;
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy;
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation;
  • Great attention to details and strong organization skills;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Mature personality and sound judgement skills;
  • Act in a professional and ethical manner at all times
